Bring the problems your teams cannot solve with routine methods. In return, your teams use our tools and work with our researchers.
What you get
- IDEAS accounts for all your collaborators, which open the seven flagship tools: Finder, TRIZBench, ARIZ-Copilot, FusionMind, PatentSpark, HiveScan and TRIZApp.
- Live demonstrations of new tools, before they are released.
- Your problems studied by our researchers, and proposed to our students in the Inventive Design Contest or an ECIU challenge.
- A say in the Chair’s research agenda and access to its events.
- To go further, fund a PhD thesis on a subject of direct interest to you, as ArcelorMittal and EDF do.
How patronage works
- An annual patronage paid to the Fondation Université de Strasbourg.
- Competitors already in the Chair are consulted beforehand and may object.
- A flexible commitment: you may join or leave each year.
- Expertise assignments are contracted separately through SATT Conectus.

Some partners go further than patronage: they fund a PhD thesis on a subject of direct interest to them.
