Sébastien Dubois works on the formal foundations of TRIZ contradictions: models that link inventive and optimisation problems, algorithms that extract generalised contradictions from experimental or simulation data, and methods for choosing which contradiction to solve. He has applied these approaches to supply chain, cutting tools and batteries, and recently to the design of learning systems for Education 4.0.
