Human–AI collaboration in invention

The engineer remains the judge.

Designing tools in which teams and AI build problem models together, and using the engineers’ judgements as data to evaluate and improve the machine.

Inventive work is collective. Our tools are used by industrial teams and by students in challenges set by partners. We study where AI helps, where it misleads, and how to measure the difference with people rather than with proxies.
